Fettuccine Piedmont Style

The Piedmontese cuisine differs from the rest of Italy. Instead of Pizza and tomato-based sauces, it is much more inspired by meat, butter and truffles. Our Fettuccine Piedmont Style reflects this culinary tradition and lets you make the best of the ingredients left after a hearty Thanksgiving dinner. Simply blend the meat sauce (Turkey works well too) with butter and Flora’s Homestyle Egg Fettuccine in a large pan. Season the sauce with nutmeg, pepper, and salt. Before serving, add truffle oil to taste, depending on how much of Piedmont you would like in your dish. Enjoy!

  • 1 lb Flora Homestyle Egg Fettuccine Pasta
  • 3.5 oz Flora Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 300 ml meat sauce
  • 3 oz butter
  • Salt
  • nutmeg (optional)
  • white pepper (optional)
  • Truffle oil (optional)


  • Bring water to boil (slightly salted) and cook the Flora Homestyle Egg Fettuccine for 6 minutes.
  • Prepare the sauce whilst the pasta is boiling: Heat up the meat sauce with butter in a large pan at moderate heat.
  • Add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
  • Take the Fettuccine out of the water and add them to the sauce in the pan.
  • Blend the Fettuccine and the sauce with half of the Parmesan cheese.
  • Plate the Fettuccine in the sauce and add a few drops of truffle oil and Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Serve and enjoy!
