Vermicelli ‚ÄúPrincipe Di Napoli‚ÄĚ Recipe
16 oz. Package of Flora Vermicelli Pasta
1 oz. Flora Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 ¬ĺ cups cherry tomatoes
¬Ĺ cup tomato sauce
1 teaspoon of hot pepper flakes
¬ĺ oz. parmesan cheese
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
1/8 oz. minced basil
¬Ĺ cup black olives
Heat oil in a frying pan. Add the garlic and hot pepper flakes. Cut tomatoes in half and add them to the oil with tomato sauce.
Cook over high heat 5 minutes. Lower the heat, add the minced basil and whole olives. Cook the vermicelli in salted water, drain them and saut√© them gently in the sauce with the parmesan cheese. Garnish with basil leaves. Serves 4.
